Sawtooth National Recreation Area in central Idaho is part of Sawtooth National Forest and encompasses the Sawtooth, White Cloud, Boulder, and part of the Smoky Mountains. The Sawtooth Wilderness covers the Sawtooth Range, one of the most scenic mountain ranges in the country. The town of Stanley is at the northern of the SNRA while Ketchum and Sun Valley are at the southern end. There are incredible opportunities for hiking, biking, mountain climbing, boating, rafting, horseback riding, and other activities here.
