Ouachita National Forest
Location: western Arkansas
Date: April 10, 2015
I briefly stopped in the Ouachita Mountains of Ouachita National Forest in western Arkansas on the morning of April 10, 2015. I stopped at and around the Albert Pike Recreation Area (the site of a 2010 flash flood that killed 20 people). The scenery was great, so here's a few photos.
I also backpacked the Eagle Rock Loop through this area in 2019.
